My Bio

My personal story started in 1984 when I first recieved silicone breast implants. By the late 80`s I started to develop auto immune diseases but never associated this with having breast implants. Early 90`s a rupture was diagnosed. At this point I began to worry if there was a connection between the two but was being reassured by doctors there wasn`t. I was so afarid to go without breast implants that when I had the silcone implants removed I opted to replace with saline implants. Big mistake! My health steadily worsened and I finally had the saline implants removed almost 4 years ago. I`am trying to detox my body from the silicone as well as from an exposure to mold from my home. I`am now living in a new enviorment and I`am hopful for the best. I can no longer enjoy the hobbies I once did but do look forward to the future and spending time with my 2 year old grandaughter. I now live in an area where there are farms and hope to venture out and explore with my grandaughter. This is all new to me as I have always been a city girl who never lived too far from the ocean. I have learned so much on this journey of having had breast implants and hope to share with young women that it is not what is on the outside as much as what is on the inside that we need to value and nuture.
